Considering the talent that’s involved with ASSASSIN’S CREED there’s a lot more riding on its success than other video game flicks. In a few weeks we will see if it lives up to the lofty heights, but if you’re tired of waiting then come on over and get a taste with this new clip from the movie, featuring Michael Fassbender showing off his horse riding and jumping skills. Man, what I wouldn’t give to be able to jump. Like even a foot would be nice. My legs aren’t very strong…

There’s not much in the way of story developments, but the clip gives us a good look at the kind of action we’ll see in the full product. There’s an old school vibe to it what with the whole horse-back-chase-to-save-someone-before-the-carriage-goes-off-the-cliff bit, which is a departure from the usually CGI-heavy game adaptations we’ve seen. Of course if you didn’t like what you saw then I all I can say is it’s not representative of the whole movie and to just wait to see the whole thing. If you’re indifferent then I say pick a lane and stop being an Indecisive Kevin! Feel something!
