Today, it's been confirmed that actress Michelle Monaghan will be reprising her role as Ethan's wife, Julia Meade, for the highly-anticipated sequel!
The news comes by way of writer-director Christopher McQuarrie, who posted a wordless photo of the seasoned actress on his official Instagram account:
From what we know about the film so far, MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 6 will see the return of Cruise's Hunt starring alongside Rebecca Ferguson, Henry Cavill, Vanessa Kirby, Alec Baldwin and Angela Bassett. Unfortunately, for the moment, plot details are scarce, but you can bet that we'll report on them as soon as something comes down the wire. The film, which hails from the combined production efforts of McQuarrie, Cruise, Don Granger, J.J. Abrams and Skydance Productions’ David Ellison and Dana Goldberg is set to be released on July 27, 2018.
