More casting news for THE HUNGER GAMES? You don’t say…

Our lives wouldn’t be complete without such, so let’s just jump right into the grist. According to THR, youngsters Chris Mark and Jacqueline Emerson have joined Gary Ross’ adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ popular novel series. The two kiddies will play District 5 Tributes (whatever the hell that means), with Mark playing the unnamed tribute boy, and Emerson playing Foxface – a ginger headed gaunt-face.

But that’s not all. According to Vulture, there’s actually adults to be portrayed in the film. Word is Woody Harrelson (above), Stanley Tucci and Lenny Kravitz…yes Lenny Kravitz, have all been offered parts to play in HUNGER GAMES. Tucci and Kravitz’s offers aren’t specified, but it sounds like Harrelson has been offered the role of Seneca Crane, head Gamemaker. Sounds formidable, if only a little.

With too many other names in the cast that I care to enumerate, let’s just reiterate that HUNGER GAMES comes out March 23rd of next year. Here’s the crunch:

THE HUNGER GAMES is set in the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by twelve outlying districts. Each year, the districts are forced by the Capitol to send one boy and one girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen to participate in the Hunger Games, a brutal and terrifying fight to the death – televised for all of Panem to see.

Jennifer Lawrence, AKA Katniss Everdeen!
