Here’s a movie that just sounds like a ton of fun. I’m talking about PAUL, which reteams Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. What more can you ask for, right? How about a wacky road trip, Comic Con, Michael Biehn, and an alien? Now we’re talking.

The flick, which will be directed by Greg Mottola (SUPERBAD), is about two science-fiction fanatics on a road trip whose conspiracy dreams come true when they trek to Area 51 and encounter the title character, an escaped alien.

That alien just got himself an actor to voice his quips: Seth Rogen. Now, I’m not a big-time Rogen fan, but as long as he’s only doing voice work, I can live with it. (I did quite enjoy his glob of goo in MONSTERS VS. ALIENS.) Also joining the cast: Jason Bateman, Bill Hader, Jane Lynch, and Kristen Wiig (pictured below).

And as for Mr. Biehn, according to my man Mike Sampson over at JoBlo headquarters, the two main characters prep to meet the original Kyle Reese at San Diego Comic Con. Any movie that puts Biehn on a pedestal is worthy of attention as far as I’m concerned. We don’t get enough Biehn in our lives, dammit, and that’s got to change. (Why isn’t he in THE EXPENDABLES, Sly?!)
