Dapper R&B singer Ne-Yo will trade the mic for an M-16, joining irritating TRANSFORMERS 2 sidekick Ramon Rodriguez, Taylor Handley (TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: THE BEGINNING) and Cory Hardrict (GRAN TORINO) in the platoon.
Aaron Eckhart puts his own heroic jaw in the line of fire as a US Marine sergeant fighting the invaders. Talking with Sci-Fi Wire just out of movie-soldier “boot camp”, Eckhart describes the flick as “BLACK HAWK DOWN meets ALIEN” and says “It’s going to be outrageous.”
The movie also features Bridget Moynahan, Michael Pena and Michelle Rodriguez (possibly playing some type of tough chick), and is shooting in the other LA (Louisiana) under the eye of director Jonathan Liebesman.
