Several humans have enlisted in the campaign against extraterrestrial insurgents in the action/sci-fi flick BATTLE: LOS ANGELES.

Dapper R&B singer Ne-Yo will trade the mic for an M-16, joining irritating TRANSFORMERS 2 sidekick Ramon Rodriguez, Taylor Handley (TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: THE BEGINNING) and Cory Hardrict (GRAN TORINO) in the platoon.

Aaron Eckhart puts his own heroic jaw in the line of fire as a US Marine sergeant fighting the invaders. Talking with Sci-Fi Wire just out of movie-soldier “boot camp”, Eckhart describes the flick as “BLACK HAWK DOWN meets ALIEN” and says “It’s going to be outrageous.”
