JJ Abrams and Josh Marston (MARIA FULL OF GRACE) are teaming up for an untitled supernatural thriller at Paramount. Marston pitched the idea to Abrams who brought Marston to Paramount where the concept was quickly snatched up. As is par for the course for Abrams, details are being kept on the down low. All that is known is that Marston will write and direct the film with Abrams producing through his Bad Robot company. As I’m sure you already know, Abrams, Bad Robot and Paramount are currently working on another mysterious thriller, the 1-18-08/CLOVERFIELD project. Abrams will also be directing STAR TREK for the studio starting this November. TREK is scheduled for release on December 25, 2008. What better way to spend Christmas than with Kirk, Spock and the gang?! No word on when production on Marston’s project could begin.
