A movie about waiting in line for Star Wars called Line Kings is on the way

You know the worst part about anything, ever? Waiting in lines. Whether it's the DMV, amusement parks, your mom's room, or movie premieres, waiting in line sucks. So Hollywood has come up with the bright idea to make a whole movie out of it in a new comedy called LINE KINGS about – you guessed it – waiting in line.

According Variety, LINE KINGS "will focus on a group of rabid Star Wars fans who camp out for four days on Hollywood Boulevard, in front of the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre after Disney announces that the fans who are first in line after four days will win walk-on roles in the next film in the series — leading to a battle royale between two fan groups determined to be first."

What might even be more interesting is that it's going to be directed by Tony Dow, who played Wally Weaver on the original LEAVE IT TO BEAVER series in the '50s. In fact, this isn't even his first directing gig, though he's mainly worked in television, including episodes of STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE, BABYLON 5, and HOME IMPROVEMENT.

Now, while I've been giving the plot of this film the business, I actually think this could be fun, if done right. Fans can get pretty crazy sometimes, especially when it comes to STAR WARS and premieres, so we'll see how this turns out. I for one am pretty curious. But what do you Schmoes think? Sound off below with your most memorable "waiting in line" stories!
