tyrese and Dwayne Johnson end feud

It’s a Christmas miracle everyone! It looks like one of the most infamous feuds in Hollywood, the one between Tyrese and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has finally been put to rest. Tyrese said as much in a recent interview with Josh Horowitz on Comedy Central’s Stir Crazy.

“Me and The Rock peaced up by the way,” Tyrese revealed. “We talked for like four hours three weeks ago.” This is excellent news, as let’s face it – as good as HOBBS & SHAW was, it was no FATE OF THE FURIOUS. As good as Johnson and Jason Statham are in the title roles, there’s something very special about the characters as part of a cohesive unit. Tyrese himself said as much when discussing whether or not he’d ever do a Roman Pierce spin-off.

“What’s interesting about “The Fast and the Furious” series is it's not about any of us individually. We’re like the UN at this point. Everyone gets to go to the theater and say ‘he or she looks like me!’.”

Truth be told, the FAST & THE FURIOUS franchise is a favorite of mine. Is it cheesy? Sure, but it’s also so much fun and I cannot wait until F9 finally hits theatres on Memorial Day 2021. If anything, given the current state of things, I think we could all use a little dose of the franchise for the holidays, but good things come to those who wait.

As to the rumor of the crew going into space, Horowitz asked Tyrese, but the star wasn’t talking, despite Michelle Rodriguez seemingly confirming as much a few months ago.

If the crew is heading to space, what should F10 tackle? The afterlife? Intergalactic travel? Strike back below!
