Holy new actress, Batman! Today, we were treated to our first look at how Javicia Leslie, The CW's new Batwoman, wears the cowl! The actress herself posted the screen test image to her Instagram account. Feast your eyes:
Bear in mind that Ms. Leslie will not be playing Kate Kane, which was Ruby Rose's character before she left the series a few months ago. Rather, she will be Ryan Wilder and simply taking up the Batwoman mantle. I prefer this idea as it at least keeps the series honest while still giving Leslie time to make the character truly her own.
