First look at the Star Wars: The Force Awakens toys debuting at Comic Con

Last Updated on February 4, 2026

After yesterday’s news that Hall H at San Diego Comic Con would feature a major presence from STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS, Entertainment Weekly has unveiled the first look at three toys debuting at the convention next month. While it was a foregone conclusion that there would be a major merchandise boom related to J.J. Abrams‘ film, this gives us our first look at the tip of the iceberg.

The three toys glimpsed below include a LEGO First Order Stormtrooper figure that stands nine inches tall and is comprised of 81 pieces. It will be available at SDCC exclusively until January 1, 2016 when it will be released in stores. Second is a Hot Wheels car modeled after the First Order Stormtrooper and then the 6-inch Black Series version of the soldier which runs $24.99. The Black Series figure will have an exclusive Comic Con packaging.

I would fully expect many reveals of characters, costumes, and more once SDCC rolls around and you can trust that JoBlo.com will be there with looks at them all for you. Stay tuned for more details as the convention approaches.

San Diego Comic Con runs from July 9-12 and STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS opens in theaters on December 18th.
