Another actor has now joined the cast of Edgar Wright’s ANT-MAN. Who could it be? Well, here’s a hint…HOUSE OF CARDS.

No, not Kevin Spacey. No, not Robin Wright (formerly Penn). Definitely not Kate Mara, she’s Sue Storm now. Okay, give up? It’s Corey Stoll.

Stoll, who I think should be getting more challenging roles, has entered the project as…well…that’s a secret. The Wrap had no details on who the actor might be playing in the superhero flick. Wish there was more that I could tell you but he does join a cast that includes Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Patrick Wilson, Evangeline Lilly, and Michael Pena.

Director Wright has been quite mysterious when it comes to his intentions with the story in its characters. All we know is this (which is the basic storyline):

Rudd and Douglas are set to star as Scott Lang and Hank Pym, respectively. Pym is a biochemist who discovers subatomic particles that allow him to shrink to insect size (and later, grow, into Giant-Man), as well as control ants. Lang, a reformed thief and electronics expert, comes along years later and uses Pym’s technology to inhabit the superhero character.

Stoll can be seen next on Guillermo del Toro’s FX series THE STRAIN which hits June 22, 2014.
