Disney has pulled off the marketing gloves and is unleashing STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS in full-force. Nearly a dozen TV spots have hit, showcasing the occasional new shot, as well as the first uninterrupted clip from the film (which you can check out here, if you can't wait). For those of you who'd rather play it safe but still want your STAR WARS fix, here's some Empire covers showcasing some of the characters of the film. May the Photoshop be with you.
If you couldn't tell, THE FORCE AWAKENS is tracking to make some big bucks come December. The question is, how much? The Wall Street Journal has reported that the flick has already made over $50 million in pre-sales alone! Now Deadline has a few sources estimating that the movie will pull in anywhere from $185-210 million on the first weekend. If you recall, JURASSIC WORLD made just shy of that on its opening weekend, so it's certainly not out of the question. As far as my bets go…I think FORCE AWAKENS will break some more records!
