The first time I saw Tom Hardy in a film, he was young, bald, and growling at the camera in STAR TREK: NEMESIS. It's now thirteen years later and a mature, follically gifted Tom Hardy is growling at the camera once again in LEGEND. The actor plays the dual roles of real-life twins Ronnie and Reggie Kray, gangsters who terrorized London throughout the 50's and 60's.
Universal has released a new trailer for LEGEND which features all sorts of questionable behavior as well as some great work from both Tom Hardy's.
Tom Hardy has grown into one of my favourite actors working today; despite appearing in some giant blockbusters he's never been one to shy away from trying different things. LEGEND comes to us from Brian Helgeland, who penned the screenplays for L.A. CONFIDENTIAL and MYSTIC RIVER, so I've got high hopes that we'll be in for a treat given all the talent involved.
