I think we can all agree that 2020 has been a major shit show thus far but what if I told you that Mint Mobile is about to make it better?

In a new commercial for the launch of Mint Mobile's unlimited plan, Ryan Reynolds has coaxed LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS star Rick Moranis out of a two-decade hibernation to help promote the latest deal for his cellular network. In the promo, Reynolds invites Moranis to join him on camera and then requests little else from the beloved Canadian actor.

"So, what do you want me to do? You want me to say something about Mint?" Moranis asks with a befuddled look on his face. "I've really got to get a phone." Shortly thereafter, Reynolds admits that the reason he wanted Moranis to join him is that like many of us, he's "a huge fan." After a beat of staged awkwardness, Moranis decides to turn tail and simply leaves Reynolds to fanboy by his lonesome. After all, Moranis has got more pressing matters to attend to, such as preparing to star in Disney's Honey, I Shrunk the Kids reboot SHRUNK alongside Josh Gad.

While Moranis' Mint Mobile walk-on is short but sweet, it sure feels good to see the iconic actor in the spotlight once more. For real, is there anything that Ryan Reynolds can't do? He gave us Rick Moranis in 2020 for heaven's sake. Thank you, Ryan. We appreciate your valiant efforts to add a ray of sunshine to this dumpster fire of a year. Cheers!
