One of the better horror movies to come out over the past few years was definitely James Wan’s THE CONJURING. After the risky yet very successful release in the summer of 2013 (over $300 million worldwide) it was only a matter of time until news of a sequel would hit. The release date has now been announced and it looks as though they are trying to duplicate the summer success of the first entry; THE CONJURING 2 will arrive in theaters June 10th, 2016.

What sets THE CONJURUING apart from a lot of horror movies that churn out just as fast as we forget them these days is that it was dependant on more than just cheap jump scares. It had characters you cared about set in an unforgettable atmosphere of chilling visuals. We don't have a story or official casting just yet but the supernatural investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga are expected to return.

Other movies set for release on June 10th, 2016 include NOW YOU SEE ME 2 and Sony’s video game adaptation UNCHARTED. These films are likely going to move around considering the sequel-filled month also has TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES 2, FINDING DORY, and INDEPENDENCE DAY 2 coming out.
