The Late Late Show’s James Corden joins Ocean’s Eight cast

James Corden: funny man, carpool karaoke extraordinaire, and host of The Late Late Show with James Corden will be splitting his time between playing up to the night owls that tune into his variety talk-show program and joining the cast of Gary Ross’ spin-off, OCEAN’S EIGHT, for Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow Pictures. Alongside celebrity royalty like Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Rihanna and Helena Bonham Carter, Corden will act as an insurance investigator who becomes skeptical of the assembled group of lady thieves.

This news comes as no surprise seeing as Corden’s star-power is well on the rise after being courted to host the Grammy Awards, next month, and contributing to a series of films in recent times.

If you’re finding that you just can’t get enough of this dude, you can check Corden when he lends his vocals to Sony’s THE EMOJI MOVIE … or don’t. Honestly, you might be better off catching his late-night show or just enjoying a series of clips of the charismatic personality as he sings tunes with the likes of Michelle Obama, Madonna, Mariah Carey, and an army of other notable talents.

OCEAN’S EIGHT is expected to sleuth its way into theaters on June 8, 2018.
