Zack Snyder Cut: Reshoot Won’t Include Cast of Justice League

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Cast of Justice LeagueRelease the Snyder cut! Please! For the fans! When will… uh wait a minute! They ARE releasing the Snyder cut! I got so damned used to writing articles about when the damn thing was coming out, I almost started this article in the same manner! So YES! We are getting Zack Snyder's original vision of the uniting of Supers, Bats, and everyone else courtesy of HBO Max in 2021! And today, we just learned an interesting tidbit from the folks over at The Wrap that none of the proposed reshoots for the film will involve cast members. According to The Wrap's reporter, Umberto Gonzalez,

"There’s not going to be any reshoots of any kind with any actors. It’s just additional dialogue. Here’s something that hasn’t been reported yet – [Zack Snyder] did want to shoot and he wanted to do additional photography but HBO Max said no, that’s not happening. We’ll give you money for post-production, for special effects, for scoring, and even ADR but no reshoots of any kind on this movie."

So there you have it! Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Ray Fisher, Jason Momoa, and Ezra Miller don't have to suit up again for anything. Hey, whatever gets the cut before our eyes sooner is fine by me. I'm very interested to see how this thing pans out for the fans as well as the haters. I only liked a select few things with Joss Whedon's JUSTICE LEAGUE version, so hopefully through the Snyder cut, these DC heroes will see some… justice?
