I’m actually headed out in just a few to catch a matinee of SMOKIN’ ACES but before I leave, I figured I should let you know about some cool stuff hidden on the film’s official website. It’s not exactly hidden but at the bottom of the site there’s a link that says “Check out amazing restricted materials from the film – Must be 18+”. If you click on that link, you’re prompted for your name and birthday. They say that you’ll need a valid driver’s license to enter, but I’m not sure how true that is (is the system searching public records to see if someone with that name and birthdate has a valid ID?). Inside it will take you to some deleted scenes from the movie and some stills that were apparently too graphic to be released. If you’re itchin’ for more content, you could always read our interviews with the cast or our 1:1 interview with director Joe Carnahan. He loves JoBlo.com just like Spielberg! All very exciting stuff. Enjoy!
