I love me some Neil Marshall, the man came swooping in a decade ago and gave the genre some much-needed fresh air.
The man currently does not have a confirmed follow up to last years CENTURION, but he has been rumoured for many projects (including BURST 3D, UNDERGROUND and an alien invasion flick), but nothing solid.
It now seems as though he is exploring new directing ventures, as he has been tapped to direct an episode of the popular new series GAME OF THRONES for HBO.
From what I have seen, the show seems like a good fit for him. This will actually mark his television-directing debut, and I couldn’t have picked a better one for him. Perhaps this will lead him into his next film directing gig?
GAME OF THRONES synopsis: The show explores a medieval-like fantasy world with its plethora of characters all struggling in the only game that matters–the game of thrones. And in this game you either win or you die, there is no middle ground.

One of the many reasons to watch the show, Emilia Clarke!
