We've all been there; you want to watch something but end up spending close to an hour looking through your library or various streaming services only to pop on an episode of a show you've already watched a hundred times. Well, if you're willing to put your viewing habits into the hands of an algorithm, Netflix has your back.

The streaming service has launched an expanded test of Shuffle Play, a new feature for the indecisive among us which will stream a random title for subscribers based on their viewing history or playlists. "The purpose of the test is to make it easier for members to find something to watch," a Netflix spokesperson said. Once the findings of the test are analyzed, the plan is to roll out the Shuffle Play feature permanently. The Shuffle Play option is available worldwide to select Netflix subscribers on connected-TV devices, and if you're one of those included, you'll be able to find the Shuffle Play button underneath your profile log-in screen, in the billboard area on your user profile, or on the TV menu sidebar. As I mentioned above, the feature wont be entirely random; Shuffle Play will include movies or TV shows similar to ones you've already watched, titles in genres you frequent, or movies and TV shows you have in the My List section. What do you folks think? Is Shuffle Play something that would actually help you find something to watch?

One of the latest films to debut on Netflix is PROJECT POWER, a superhero thriller which stars Jamie Foxx as a former soldier who teams up with a police officer (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and a drug dealer (Dominique Fishback) to stop the distribution of a pill that gives the user superpowers for five minutes.
