It can’t be good for the prospects of GI JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA when the Joseph Gordon-Levitt movie I want to see most this summer isn’t that big action spectacle, but his little indie romancer 500 DAYS OF SUMMER. It just looks so…refreshing. A new international trailer for the film is online and while it’s not as good of a trailer as some of the earlier versions, it does pepper in a little more of the film’s humor (that “Anal Girl” line still cracks me up). The film opens on July 17th but you don’t have to wait – Fox Searchlight has a ton of advance screenings you can sign up for.
