Hammer Films’ resurgence continues with WAKE WOOD, a creepy-looking tale that appears to be an old-fashioned chiller in the classic Hammer mold. Some pictures from the feature have come to my attention, so I thought I’d share them with y’all.

Still grieving the death of their only child Alice at the jaws of a crazed dog, vet Patrick and pharmacist Louise relocate to the remote town of Wake Wood where a local pagan ritual gives them three more precious days with her… but what will they do when it’s time for their new daughter to go back?

WAKE WOOD hits the UK on MARCH 25th, then gets a DVD release a few days later, on the 28th. It supposedly hits North America in the spring as well, but we’ve yet to hear a solid date.

The flick stars Aidan Gillen, Eva Birthistle, Timothy Spall, Ella Connolly and Ruth McCabe.
