New Bond 25 photo shows Daniel Craig working out with a leg splint

After production started on the new, still untitled James Bond movie production hit a bit of a snag when star Daniel Craig injured his ankle during a stunt. While some have assumed that would halt production Craig is here to prove that he isn’t going to let some pesky injury slow down his game any further, and after taking some time off, a new photo has hit the web of him hitting the gym while rocking his new legwear.

The official James Bond Twitter account, in hopes to quell fears of BOND 25 halting in any way, posted the photo of Craig working out in his new leg splint as he gets ready for more shooting set to start soon. “#007 Daniel Craig hitting the gym hard @pinewoodstudios, prepping for shooting next week!” the caption reads.

This comes after Craig injured his leg last month while performing a stunt in Jamaica, during which he was “sprinting during filming when he slipped and fell quite awkwardly.” Soon after it was announced that Craig would have to take off some time for surgery, during which time production continued without him so as to keep sights on the April 2020 release date.

The new Bond movie also stars Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Rami Malek, Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Jeffrey Wright, Ana de Armas, Lashana Lynch and Billy Magnussen, and is in theaters April 3, 2020.
