Lavoe pioneered the Salsa movement in the 1970s and his life is apparently rife with moments fit for cinematic drama, i.e. an obscene amount of drugs and a healthy number of hookers. The film is now set for stateside release August 3rd, however, so we’ll finally get to see that magical spark J.Lo shares with her flesh and blood cannibalizing husband.
