IGN just tossed up the new trailer for RESIDENT EVIL: AFTERLIFE, and we’ve got it for you below. (Yes, it’s the same one that was shown on “Attack of the Show” last week.) It’s indeed looking very 3D-friendly – as in they’ve definitely constructed a film that’s meant for the theatrical 3D experience. Nothing wrong with that – it’s the wannabes that piss me off. Time will tell if this is actually a good movie, but we can at least get slightly stoked based on the cool trailers so far. (Relive the first one HERE.)

In a world ravaged by a virus infection, turning its victims into the Undead, Alice (Jovovich), continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead takes them to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is overrun by thousands of Undead – and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap.

By the way, be sure to check out the new RESIDENT EVIL poster, if you haven’t already; give a gander to my set visit article as well). The film comes out on September 10th.
