I’m not quite sure what to make of HITMAN. Parts of what I’ve seen look really great and then other parts have me a little reserved. It’s strange that at this point, I haven’t heard any murmurs from any research screenings, which means they haven’t had any yet or I’ve got shit in my ears. I was really hoping for a look at this film at Comic-Con but the ALIENS VS. PREDATOR situation nixed the Fox panel and we were left with nothing but the trailers. Today Latino Review has a first look at the poster and it’s pretty much what you’d expect. Timothy Olyphant, a healthy dosage of black and the classic “Hitman” pose. It doesn’t really say much about the movie other than it aims to remain quasi-faithful to the game material. I guess the big gripe against the film at this point is whether Olyphant owns the role of Agent 47 or if he’s a little too babyfaced to pull it off. So here’s my call: anyone out there know more about this? Let’s get the buzz rolling…
