At the beginning of the month we finally got a trailer for Kenneth Branagh's JACK RYAN: SHADOW RECRUIT, and I have to say it looks better than I expected. Maybe a little too action heavy compared to the character in the novels, but Chris Pine should do a solid job and I'm hopeful that with Branagh behind the camera we'll get an "adult" action-thriller and not just a BOURNE knock-off.

The first international trailer for JACK RYAN: SHADOW RECRUIT has been released with some previously unseen footage, although most of it was already revealed in the first domestic trailer.

Take a look:

Is there anyone Chris Pine can trust in JACK RYAN: SHADOW RECRUIT? I get the feeling all of them are hiding something, and I'm optimistic that we'll get a movie with plenty of smart twists and turns, and not just shaky cam fight scenes.

JACK RYAN: SHADOW RECRUIT also stars Kevin Costner, Keira Knightley and Colm Feore, and will be released on December 25th, 2013.
