The heroes of Bricksburg will soon be reuniting for THE LEGO MOVIE 2: THE SECOND PART, which will find Emmet (Chris Pratt), Lucy (Elizabeth Banks), Batman (Will Arnett), and the rest of the citizens facing off against DUPLO invaders from outer space. In an effort of defeat them and rebuild their universe, the gang will venture to unexplored worlds, test their courage, and reveal just how special they really are. We're set to receive a brand-new trailer for the upcoming sequel tomorrow (we'll be sure to have that up for you), but in the meantime, Warner Bros. has released a handful of character posters which gives us a look at returning friends as well as a few new characters.
The official synopsis of THE LEGO MOVIE 2: THE SECOND PART:
“The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part” reunites the heroes of Bricksburg in an all new action-packed adventure to save their beloved city. It’s been five years since everything was awesome and the citizens are facing a huge new threat: LEGO DUPLO® invaders from outer space, wrecking everything faster than they can rebuild. The battle to defeat them and restore harmony to the LEGO universe will take Emmet, Lucy, Batman and their friends to faraway, unexplored worlds, including a strange galaxy where everything is a musical. It will test their courage, creativity and Master Building skills, and reveal just how special they really are.
THE LEGO MOVIE 2: THE SECOND PART will hit theaters on February 8, 2019.
