New poster for Jon Wright’s Robot Overlords, starring Gillian Anderson

Last week we brought you the trailer for GRABBERS director Jon Wright's latest, the sci-fi action flick ROBOT OVERLORDS, which stars Gillian Anderson, Ben Kingsley, Callan McAuliffee, and some giant, ass-kicking robots. Now we've got the new poster for the flick to share with ya.

I got a kick out of Wright's GRABBERS so I'm really looking forward to seeing what he's cooked up for us with ROBOT OVERLORDS. This new poster certainly captures the '80s Amblin' spirit director Jon Wright is promising for his new sci-fi adventure.

Here's the synopsis:

It has been three years since the robot invasion of earth. Sean Flynn has never given up hope that his missing father might still be alive. All humans have been fitted with transmitters to ensure they obey the cardinal rule of the robot empire – that they stay indoors at all times or be incinerated. An accident at home leads to one of the transmitters short-circuiting, allowing Sean and his friends the opportunity to infiltrate their alien adversaries. They may even get a shot at freeing themselves once and for all, but it’s not going to be easy.

Look for this one to hit screens in the U.K. in March.
