New poster for Priest 3D gives us a creepy look at Paul Bettany!

May 13th, 2011 is still pretty far off, but that doesn’t seem to bother Sony Screen Gems’ attempt to keep Scott Stewart’s PRIEST on the mind of the masses. You see, a new poster for Stewart’s second piously tinged horror flick in as many years has fell at our feet, and we’ve got that shite down low for your buggers to scope out. Watch out though, Paul Bettany has an unsavory look of pederasty in his eye!

Also starring Cam Gigandet, Maggie Q (below), Karl Urban, Lily Collins, Stephen Moyer, Brad Dourif, Madchen Amick and Christopher Plummer – PRIEST is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi thriller, is set in an alternate world — one ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampires. The story revolves around a legendary Warrior Priest (Bettany) from the last Vampire War who now lives in obscurity among the other downtrodden human inhabitants in walled-in dystopian cities ruled by the Church. When his niece (Collins) is abducted by a murderous pack of vampires, Priest breaks his sacred vows to venture out on a quest to find her before they turn her into one of them. He is joined on his crusade by his niece’s boyfriend (Gigandet), a trigger-fingered young wasteland sheriff, and a former Warrior Priestess (Maggie Q) who possesses otherworldly fighting skills.
