New poster & stills for Hiroshi Takahashi’s J-horror flick Kyofu

Damn I love it when we get the opportunity to toss some love at a new J-horror outing. Just yesterday our man Jared P hit you with some exciting RING 3D news, and today I’m doing the same for Hiroshi Takahashi’s new horror flick KYOFU. Makes for a nice compliment, after-all, Takahashi wrote the scripts for the original and remade RINGU. So what kind of news do I have for you here, you ask? How’s a native one-sheet and handful of stills from Takahashi’s latest sound to you? Tasty, right? Better f*ckin’ believe it!

While no details have been released for KYOFU, a nifty Japanese site dedicated to the flick has recently launched (visit that shite HERE). And in case you’re bummed by the lack of plot elements, rest easy. Why? Well, with a track record that includes DON’T LOOK UP, RINGU 2, SERPENT’S PATH, ICHI OF SODOM, and OROCHI…we should give the man the benefit of the doubt. Right?
