Several upcoming films have received new release dates, including three movies from Warner Bros. Columbia Picture's PIXELS was originally set to hit theaters on May 15, 2015, but it's been pushed back to July 24, 2014 and will now open against the POLTERGEIST remake and Judd Apatow's TRAINWRECK. The film stars Adam Sandler, Peter Dinklage and Josh Gad, and is based on Patrick Jean's short film about an alien invasion featuring 8-bit video game characters.

Guy Ritchie's THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. starring Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer and Hugh Grant has been moved from January 16, 2015 to August 14, 2015. Warner Bros. must feel pretty confident about Guy Ritchie's take on the television series to give it a summer release.

The release date for Ericson Core's POINT BREAK with Luke Bracey as Johnny Utah and Edgar Ramirez as Bodhi has been moved up, but only slightly. The remake of the 1991 film will now open on July 31, 2015 against the Sacha Baron Cohen spy comedy GRIMSBY.

Finally, Clint Eastwood's AMERICAN SNIPER will be released in select theaters on Christmas Day 2014, before opening wide on January 16, 2015. Eastwood's new film is based on the autobiography by former U.S. Navy Seals Chris Kyle, and stars Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller.
