A friend of mine saw an early screen of Guy Ritchie’s latest shot at redemption, ROCKNROLLA, and he loved it. So hopes are high. The film takes place in where else—the London criminal underworld, and what else is there to say about it other than it’s Ritchie, it’s mobsters, and it’s loot. As REVOLVER proved, Ritchie isn’t invincible in this genre, but he can still do it better than almost anyone else. Check out these new pics from the film scanned from Empire. That’s Gerard Butler, who seems like he’d be an ideal fit in the world of Guy.
