New Shutter on the way

Well apparently no country has a film that is
safe from the horrible beast that we know as ‘The Remake’ because we got word
today that the Thai thriller

SHUTTER
is now in the process of being remade out of Japan.

This kick-ass 2005 thriller will now be starring
Joshua Jackson, Rachael Taylor, David Denman, James Kyson Lee and John Hensley.
The new
SHUTTER
will be directed by Masayuki Ochiai and
penned by Luke Dawson.

The movie is about a newly
married couple who discover disturbing, ghostly images in photographs they
develop after a tragic accident.  Fearing the manifestations may be connected,
they investigate and learn that some mysteries are better left unsolved.

I happened to catch the trailer for the original

SHUTTER
on the internet not too long ago, and
that alone scared the sh*t out of me. Hopefully the remake will at least be
palpable, and if not, than to hell with it!
