STAR TREK has a lot of ground to cover before it opens up this May. While it comes with a dedicated audience it also comes with the stigma of being, well, not very cool. So Paramount has come out swinging in an attempt to prove to people that JJ Abrams has made TREK hip again.
They’re throwing parties in LA complete with hot chicks painted up like green aliens and they’ve already started running TV spots during the NCAA tournament. That new commercial is now online and if you haven’t seen it, you can check out some of the new footage that is included. I have to say that while I’m the opposite of a “Star Trek” fan, I think I want to see this movie…
