Disney+ has unleashed a new TV spot for the seventh and final season of STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS which features the triumphant return of fan-favorite padawan turned Rebel Alliance badass Ahsoka Tano (Ashley Eckstein). The force is strong with this teaser, I'll tell you that, as it proudly displays Ahsoka's ability to wreck shop in the name of freedom. Furthermore, the acton-packed footage also gives us an eyeful of all the creatures and characters we can expect to encounter as STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS continues to air weekly on Disney+.

The new season hails from the ever-watchful eye of Dave Filoni, contributing director and executive producer of Jon Favreau's Star Wars spinoff, THE MANDALORIAN. The 12-episode season of STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS continues the storyline that was introduced in the original series, and elaborates on events leading up to STAR WARS: REVENGE OF THE SITH.

Lending their voices to the latest Star Wars-related animated adventure are  Ashley Eckstein as Ahsoka Tano, Matt Lanter as Anakin Skywalker, Dee Bradley Baker as Captain Rex and the clone troopers, plus James Arnold Taylor as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan, and Sam Witwer as Maul.

For those of you who're gutted that STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS is in the midst of its final season, dry your eyes, as it's previously been announced that a sequel series is currently in the works. According to those close to the project, the new story will follow Ahsoka in her time after the close of Clone Wars Season 7. No release date has been set as of yet, though it's been speculated that the new show could launch before the end of this year.
