New stills from Jordan Rubin’s Zombeavers show titular beasties in action

I still chuckle everytime I hear the title ZOMBEAVERS, but I'm actually quite excited to check this one out. The idea of furry undead rodents terrorizing a group of college kids brings a goofy smile to my face. I think director Jordan Rubin has a minor cult classic on his hands here. Let's hope the film delivers some gruesome fun when it finally gets a wide release.

Today we have two new stills from ZOMBEAVERS which show the titular beasties doing what they do best: swim and attack!

ZOMBEAVERS is an action-packed horror/comedy in which a group of college kids staying at a riverside cabin are menaced by a swarm of deadly zombie beavers. A weekend of sex and debauchery soon turns gruesome as the beavers close in on the kids. Riding the line between scary, sexy and funny, the kids are soon fighting for their lives in a desperate attempt to fend off the hoard of beavers that attack them in and around their cabin.

It's about a bunch of large, semi-aquatic rodents that develop a hunger for human flesh. What more could you need? Between this film and the upcoming SQUIRRELS from WANTED producer Timur Bekmambetov this looks to be the time of the killer rodent film.

SILENT NIGHT's Cortney Palm stars alongside Rachel Melvin, Hutch Dano and Jake Weary.
