The new horror/thriller HOUSE AT THE END OF THE STREET has gifted us some new stills today, some of which feature a very sexy and alluring Jennifer Lawrence. The film co-stars an equally sexy, albeit older, woman in the form of Elizabeth Shue, who plays Lawrence’s mother. Two crushworthy stars together in one movie, which is enough to satisfy the young and old crowds alike.
The trailer for this looks intriguing, but the real sell is Lawrence, whose career has been set aflame this year after THE HUNGER GAMES blew through town. With a sequel to that series, as well as a return to the body-paint blue uniform of Mystique in the X-MEN: FIRST CLASS sequel, I think that Ms. Lawrence has enough clout to open HOUSE AT THE END OF THE STREET with some decent numbers.

Synopsis:
Seeking a fresh start, newly divorced Sarah (Oscar®-nominee Elisabeth Shue; Leaving Las Vegas, Piranha 3D) and her daughter Elissa (Oscar®-nominee Jennifer Lawrence; The Hunger Games, X-Men: First Class) find the house of their dreams in a small, upscale, rural town. But when startling and unexplainable events begin to happen, Sarah and Elissa learn the town is in the shadows of a chilling secret. Years earlier, in the house next door, a daughter killed her parents in their beds, and disappeared – leaving only a brother, Ryan (Max Thieriot, My Soul to Take), as the sole survivor. Against Sarah’s wishes, Elissa begins a relationship with the reclusive Ryan – and the closer they get, the deeper they’re all pulled into a mystery more dangerous than they ever imagined.
