New Strangers poster

The new poster for the home invasion horror THE STRANGERS is all kinds of spooky. Look at the way Scott Speedman is looking downwards, as though he is ashamed, or too horrified to look his captors directly into their hollow eyes. And look at the three masked figures. Those ain’t ghosts. Those are three demented people, sick enough to put on demented masks and torment innocent people. And the fact that the Strangers look like a family makes it even worse (or better).To me, home invasion is one of the most disturbing crimes, because often it seems inexplicable. What’s more, this film is based on true events, not one in particular but an amalgamation of cases. THE STRANGERS is out on May 30th.
