When the photo of Thor, Odin and Loki from Kenneth Branagh’s THOR went online last week, fan reaction wasn’t exactly glowing. Our feedback was rated at a disappointing 33% with some in the comments saying “it looks too colorful and cheesy” and “I can’t believe how lame it looks.” Probably not what Marvel had in mind when it released the photo.
Today we have a new photo from the film that shows off a little bit more of Asgard. You can see Thor bowing down before Odin before he’s banished from Asgard and sent to Earth (where he eventually meets Jane Foster, played by Natalie Portman). I’m going to guess that if you didn’t like the first photo, you probably won’t like this one either. But, to the haters, I know people who’ve seen all this in motion and have been told it looks much, much better on film. We’ll see this week as THOR will have a big presence at Comic-Con including our first look at the film…
