Ah, let the scene chewing begin!

Netflix has released a new trailer for season 2 of their acclaimed original show, House of Cards, starring Kevin Spacey, Robin Wright, and Kate Mara. It’s a much meatier trailer than the last, which dives into Frank Underwood’s (Spacey) rise to power as the new Vice President and the walls closing in on the growing list of his dark secrets. However, anyone that’s seen season one will know that Frank doesn’t take anything lying down. Far from it.

Hunt or be hunted:

I couldn’t be more excited for this. Season one took me by complete surprise as I was hooked from the get-go. Spacey is, as expected, magnificent in the role of Frank Underwood. In many ways it’s like the role he was born to play, even after being in so many great films already. Robin Wright is tremendous as well, playing every bit Underwood’s equal and Kate Mara has found a great role to help launch her into the A-list. The supporting cast is doing bang-up work as well in what has easily become the most enthralling political thriller made to date. If you’re not watching, now’s the time to get caught up.

House of Cards season 2 debuts in its entirety on Netflix starting February 14, 2014.
