New Warcraft poster hits; trailer to debut this Friday

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

The peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home. Duncan Jones (SOURCE CODE, MOON) looks to bring the epic with his third film, and you can get a taste of that with the latest poster!

Universal Pictures also announced that the first official trailer for WARCRAFT will hit this Friday, November 6th. About damn time! We've been reading about and seeing images for WARCRAFT for years now, so I'm hoping that this trailer really gives us something to sink our teeth into. Peter Jackson has been ruling the fantasy domain with his LORD OF THE RINGS and HOBBIT tales, but I hope Jones has something really special for us come next summer.

WARCRAFT will open in theaters on June 10, 2016.
