Nick Stahl and Rachel Nichols hunt a small-town killer in Meskada

Nick Stahl is everywhere, all of a sudden. He’s in MIRRORS 2, he’s in DEAD AWAKE and now he’s in MESKADA, which is perhaps the worst-sounding title of the bunch. (It also has this hilarious tagline: “The Haves And The Have-Nots Are About To Collide… And It’ll Be Murder!”) Apparently MESKADA was recently in theaters, but I’ll be damned if I got the memo. In any event, it’s headed to DVD this coming spring – which can’t get here fast enough, by the way.

MESKADA, which also stars Rachel Nichols, Kellan Lutz and Norman Reedus, follows a small-town detective named Noah Cordin (Stahl) as he struggles to solve the brutal murder of a boy in the peaceful, affluent town of Hilliard. The killers left behind no clues at the crime scene, with the exception of a scrap of paper leading Cordin back to his working-class hometown of Caswell. Here, Cordin and county detective Leslie Spencer (Nichols) consult with Cordin’s old friends, all of whom are suffering from the economic troubles that have plunged Caswell into destitution and despair. As their search fails to turn up a suspect, feverish tensions rise between the towns of Hilliard and Caswell. Cordin will soon learn that some crimes find their criminals…

We don’t have any details regarding special features at the moment, but you can probably expect the usual making-of featurettes…

MESKADA comes out on MARCH 22nd. If you want to pre-order it, head on over HERE.
