Night of the Living Dead children’s book on the way!

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

So this is fun! Apparently there's going to be a Night of the Living Dead children's book (or at least, one in the style of a children's book), from Gory Books, that's available for pre-order right now. You can also check out the various covers at the bottom of the article!

And here's the official description:

Introducing Gory Books, a series of children’s book-style adaptations of iconic horror properties from Broke Horror Fan, 215ink, and Witter Entertainment. The debut installment is based on George A. Romero’s Night of the Living Dead. This produce is now officially licensed from Image Ten!

Explore the foundations of fright through intriguing illustrations by Will Perkins and poetic prose by Mike D. Perkins, as a group of strangers barricade themselves in an old farmhouse to ward off an encroaching plague of flesh-eating zombies!

Three cover variants are available:

  • Will Perkins cover (2nd pictured)
  • Giles Crawford cover (3rd pictured)
  • Travis Falligant cover (4th pictured)

Night of the Living Dead VHS tie-in editions are available (5th pictured) with each cover, limited to 25. Choose your favorite option from the pull-down menu below!

Meanwhile, the Night of the Living Dead children's book – if ordered soon – is expected ship sometime late January!

So what do you guys think? And what gory horror film would you like to see get the kid's book treatment? Either way, sound off below!
