So that’s what happened to Nikki Reed and DJ Qualls!
Surely I can’t be the only one around here who wonders what became of two young talents who, at the beginning of last decade, showed tremendous promise. Not only did Reed give a thoroughly convincing performance as a precocious teenager in THIRTEEN, she co-wrote that film. DJ Qualls starred in a number of mid-2000 flicks, most of them throwaways, but hey…dude was cashin’ checks. So what the hell happened?
As per the title of this article, turns out Reed and Qualls are being HELD CAPTIVE by director Vlad Yudin (THE LAST DAY OF SUMMER). Wanna hear what this shite’s all about? C’mon…don’t make me twist our arm!

When the passive and awkward fast food employee, Joe, is relentlessly harassed and tormented by his malicious Boss, he finds himself increasingly isolated from reality. Joe’s final humiliation comes when his Boss fires him in front of his fellow co-workers causing a menacing chain of events.
Joe finds himself without a job, friends, or hope, and soon becomes increasingly psychotic. He decides that the only way he can rectify his life is to take back his manhood with violent revenge.
In a fanatical rage, Joe returns to the restaurant in an attempt to kill his Boss but his plan is disrupted by a quick glance from the beautiful Stefanie.
Instead of completing his plan of retribution Joe decides to kidnap Stefanie. He takes her to a grimy hotel where she finds herself imprisoned by the erratic stranger. Stefanie soon realizes that her kidnapper is on the verge of madness and her life depends on her escape.
What happens next is an unexpected thriller that will leave you guessing and wanting more.
