Nine Perfect Strangers teaser: Nicole Kidman leads a creepy wellness retreat

Nicole Kidman has another limited series just over the horizon, and this time around, she seems to be taking on the most mysterious role for herself. Based upon the best-selling novel by Liane Moriarty, Nine Perfect Strangers takes place "at a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation as nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living. Watching over them during this ten-day retreat is the resort's director Masha (Nicole Kidman), a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies. However, these nine 'perfect' strangers have no idea what is about to hit them." The limited series serves as a reunion between David E. Kelley and Nicole Kidman, as the former developed Big Little Lies and The Undoing, which also starred Kidman.

In addition to Nicole Kidman, Nine Perfect Strangers also stars Melissa McCarthy, Michael Shannon, Luke Evans, Bobby Cannavale, Regina Hall, Samara Weaving, Melvin Gregg, Asher Keddie, Grace Van Patten, Tiffany Boone, and Manny Jacinto. Quite the cast. As someone who is unfamiliar with the novel, I have no idea what's going on here, but I'm absolutely on board.
