No Halloween sequel?

JoBloJoBlo

Finally some good news about the Rob Zombie HALLOWEEN remake! It looks as if Zombie won’t be coming back to do a sequel to his remake-but- not-a-remake. Says Zombie to Entertainment Weekly, “I’m not going to do any more Halloween movies, or any more remakes of any kind.” Of course we’ve heard similar statements before so who knows what to think. But as of right now, Zombie will not be making a HALLOWEEN 2. But considering how well HALLOWEEN did at the box-office, you can expect Dimension to somehow find a way to exploit the franchise. How about YOUNG MICHAEL MYERS, where it’s just a film of him being evil as a little kid all the time. Like “A Pup Named Scooby Doo” but with a psychotic little kid. Or maybe HALLOWEEN 2058, which takes places 50 years in the future when Myers is 80 something years old. Zombie says he’s not sure what he plans to do with either of the two films in his Dimension deal but they might not even be horror. The horror!
