The folks behind HALLOWEEN: 25 YEARS OF TERROR and the highly anticipated documentary HIS NAME WAS JASON – which is about you know who – are already planning their follow-up project. Naturally, it will be about NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET!
Writer/producers Thommy Hutson and Anthony Masi told Fango that the doc should scratch at us in a couple years…
“The next NIGHTMARE movie is scheduled to be in theaters in 2010, so if I were to speculate, we would probably want to get everybody rounded up and have something shot next year.”
“There are always surprises and new bits of information to be found. While it’s a bit early to be talking about what our specific approach will be, I can guarantee we will come up with things that fans didn’t know about.”
The duo are also currently toiling over THE PSYCHO LEGACY in addition to HIS NAME WAS JASON. Obviously, these guys rock, and I can only hope they continue to bring us informative docs as fast as Hollywood can churn out remakes. Maybe next up will be an EVIL DEAD retrospective?
