NOES trailer far off

Looks like those of us not cool enough to go to Comic-Con won’t be getting a look at that allegedly awesome NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET trailer for quite a while folks. Platinum Dunes honcho Brad Fuller took to his blog and dished out the cold news. Here’s an excerpt:

Our film comes out on April 30th. That is 9 months away – a really, really long time in the movie business. If they released the trailer now, it would surely be forgotten a few months from now, and then what? This amazing teaser would have not had the impact that it should.
